Orangewood High (Continuation) (OHS) opened in the fall of 1966 and is the continuation high school serving students of the community and school district of Redlands, California. The Redlands Unified School District (RUSD), located 65 miles east of Los Angeles, encompasses the cities of Redlands and Loma Linda, portions of the cities of Highland and San Bernardino, and a considerable area of unincorporated county territory. RUSD serves a student population of approximately 19,400. The area known as the Inland Empire, of which Redlands is a part, experienced tremendous population, housing, logistic, and retail growth over the past decade.

OHS provides a curriculum and environment designed to meet the needs of its diverse student population. Students have access to various academic programs tailored to meet their needs and are scheduled into classes with careful consideration given to their abilities and needs. OHS’s whole child instructional program and philosophies include grade-level instruction, college preparatory, and Career and Technical Education courses in addition to a comprehensive Multi-Tiered System of Support (MTSS) system that work together to help students become successful graduates prepared for postsecondary success.
